PVC

Polyvinylchloride / Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene  Alloy - PVC/ABS Alloy

Polymer Type

Thermoplastic

Advantages

Inherently flame resistant. Higher maximum operating temperature, notched izod impact strength and HDT than unmodified UPVC.  Lower mould shrinkage than unmodified ABS.

Disadvantages

Difficult to process compared with ABS. Reduced surface gloss. Lower notched izod impact strength than ABS (medium impact).
